World Record dunking biscuit in tea from 70-metre bungee jump

A British adrenaline junkie has given new meaning to the phrase “high tea” – writing his name into the record books in the process.


Simon Berry, 24, from Sheffield, has become a Guinness World Recordholder after completing the highest bungee dunk, combining his passions for biscuits and bungees.

Snake in the Christmas tree

It’s no partridge in a pear tree but a Melbourne woman got a big surprise when she found a tiger snake entwined among the tinsel on her Christmas tree.


The Frankston woman discovered the snake in her tree on Sunday morning and called in professional snake catcher Barry Goldsmith.

“It’s one of the more different ones, but we find them in all sorts of places,” Goldsmith said. “Tiger snakes are very good climbers.”

‘Pushed by an angel’: Boy saves falling baby brother

A 9-year-old Florida boy says an “angel pushed” him to catch his baby brother as the baby fell off a changing table and nearly smacked his head on the hardwood floor.

Before the incident, Tila Levi had been changing 11-month-old Eitan’s diaper. She was distracted by her 6-year-old son, Zion, who needed help with his homework.

Kind bus driver

An Irish bus driver has become something of a local celebrity after he stopped his bus to get out and help an elderly passenger.


Not only is half the country talking about him after the story of his act of kindness was shared across Facebook, but quite a few of them appear to be related to him.

William is a bus driver for Bus Éireann in Cork. Earlier this week, he was driving the 205 service from CIT to Kent Station at around 3.40pm.
